“First of all thank you for the experience and exposure to this side of our profession. I came in with experience that was attained from a class taken in undergrad for athletic taping and the rest was from "on the go and learn as you go" while working with my high school's football team. No formal training and no one to really learn from or shadow. This class provided a foundation and framework I can refer to when providing services at different events with confidence. The class is informative, hands on, and practical. Dr. Ann is approachable and knowledgeable. In preparation for the class, there are modules that complement the hands on lab portion. Overall, a well organized course. If you're looking to work on sidelines or other sporting events with confidence, then look no further than this course.”

“BY FAR THE BEST EMR COURSE out there. As someone who has taken an EMR course before with another company I was so excited to find a course that not only gives you the knowledge to successfully work on field coverage as a PT, but also helps you learn and review key skills you will need to support ATs and be a helpful member of a sports medicine team. Ann goes over everything from taping, to spine boarding to emergency response and then some. This is truely the best course for PTs looking to get their EMR for SCS, CEU or just general knowledge reasons. I definatly feel like my skills as a PT have improved since taking Ann course. She also makes the information digestible and I like that the online portion is sectioned into 1-5 min videos per slide so you can truely digest the content without watching hour long lectures at a time. ”

“Had a blast learning from Dr. Ann this weekend on hands-on skills and techniques that could help athletes who sustain acute injuries or life-threatening emergencies. As a PT who works closely with dancers and athletes, I typically see patients in the clinic after they’ve suffered an injury - shoulder or patellar dislocation, concussion, ankle sprain, etc. However, PTs have the capacity to provide onsite care at events, like competitions, games, rehearsals/practices, and even auditions. While the course focused heavily on sports athletes, skills such as CPR, splints, slings, wound care, and lifts could easily be transferred over to clinical practice as well as everyday accidents. 10/10 would highly recommend. “Just wrapped up an emergency responder course led by Dr. Ann DeGrey from NovaSport Institute, and it was 100% worth it. The course was a mix of online lectures/videos and a one-day, in-person hands-on session. The online part was super manageable and gave a solid foundation, but the live skills day was the best part. We practiced splinting, ran through mock injury scenarios, and reviewed CPR and basic life support. Dr. DeGrey made everything practical and easy to understand, especially for PTs who aren’t used to being first responders. Honestly, it was eye-opening and made me feel a lot more confident if something were to happen on the field or in the clinic. Highly recommend for any PT looking to level up their emergency response skills.”
